Hooray. This morning I’m savoring the moment because I’m almost done with the first draft of Whiskey’s Gone, the third book in the Fina Fitzgibbons mystery series. In a few minutes, I’ll start to rough in the climax and denouement. Tomorrow I’ll have two books to edit at the same time—Missing Brandy and Whiskey’s Gone. I like it like that—not so boring and I can make the stories fit better. Not that they’re not discrete (as opposed to discreet). But the storylines are related. Sisters, you might say. The yellow stickies in the photo are all the threads I need to wrap up in the final scene. My magical pig is standing by to help.
